Committees
Get involved by joining a committee. Below are the standing committees of the Association. If your interest isn't represented, we're happy to collaborate on expanding our service.
By-Laws Committee
The By-Laws Committee shall review, evaluate, recommend and propose changes to the Association’s by-laws.
Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee shall plan and implement activities geared to promote the Association’s commitment to public service. The Committee shall also develop and implement a process for monitoring members’ participation and recommend projects to be undertaken as approved by the Association.
Continuing Legal Education Committee
The Continuing Legal Education Committee shall plan and implement programs designed to enhance the professional growth and skills of the members of the Association in delivering legal services.
Election Committee
The Election Committee shall convene for the purpose of preparing for general elections to be held in April.
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee shall create and organize various events to raise funds for the Association.
Gala Banquet Committee
The Gala Banquet Committee is responsible for planning and organizing the Association’s annual Scholarship and Awards Gala.
Membership & Hospitality Committee
The Membership & Hospitality Committee shall promote the Association’s growth through planned activities to encourage persons eligible for membership to join the Association.
Pulse-Community Advocacy Committee
The Pulse Committee shall develop and implement community service in the furtherance of the mission of the organization.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee shall administer the Association’s scholarship program (i.e. coordinated selection of qualified applicants), and plan and implement the Scholarship Banquet to be held annually.
