Bio for TJ Reddick Bar

Alexia Hudson is the Treasurer for the 2020-2021 Executive Board for the TJ Reddick Bar Association. Alexia completed her undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University where received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. While attending NSU law she joined the Black Law Student Association and during her third year in law school became the President of the organization. Joining and staying active with BLSA was how Alexia was first introduced to the T.J. Reddick Bar Association and has been hooked ever since.
Alexia began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. She handled a myriad of cases in the misdemeanor, domestic violence, and felony divisions. Alexia has tried both bench and jury trials to verdict. She knew that is where she wanted to start her legal career as she interned at the Broward County Public Defender’s office every summer after her first year in law school. She loved it so much that she became a certified legal intern in her 3L year.
Alexia loved being a criminal defense attorney but decided in 2016 to transition to civil litigation. She is currently a Lead Attorney at one of leading Personal Injury Protection firms in Florida, Landau and Associates where she supervises, and trains attorneys assigned to her team.
Outside of the law, Alexia loves music, sunrises, and enjoys helping others visualize their goals through her vision board event she hosts every year. She also has a nonprofit organization, Soulz On A Mission Inc., the goal of which is to decrease juvenile delinquency.
She is excited to be a part of this 2020-2021 board and is ready to see T.J. Reddick soar to greater heights.
